New Dog Bin at The Batch.

Nick Robinson (Assistant Ranger) with Steven Matthews and Ben, testing out the new dog bin.

The Batch Valley has a newly installed dog bin to cater for the large number of dog owners that walk in the area. There are already 5 bins in Carding Mill Valley, and this new one will hopefully reduce the dog poo problem at the Batch. The money for the bin was kindly donated by Steven Matthews from Darwin Matthews Solicitors of Shrewsbury (http://darwin-matthews.co.uk/) who lives and walks in the area with his family and his dog, a collie-spaniel cross named Ben. Also, a photographer from The Shropshire Star came down to photo the event, so expect to see the story in the paper very soon!

  1. Ha ha good to see that Nick still gets all the glamorous jobs! Seems like a lifetime ago that I was living at Big Mose with the volunteer wardens and he would come and eat all our food... Well I guess it was coming up for 10 years ago. Hope all is well there, Megan
