Play gets underway in the Valley.

2012 is all about play within the National Trust and at Carding Mill various new structures are being erected up the Valley. Work has begun with two bridges being built over the stream. One is situated on the track up to the reservoir and the other by the Education Woodland where the new bird hide will be. The holes for the 6 main structural posts of the hide have also been dug and the fence surrounding the woodland is being re-done. Wood for the outer cladding has been sourced from Wenlock Edge and the aim is to get everything up and running before Easter. Watch this space!
