Jubilee Beacon.

200 pallets from TSM Pallets
The National Trust have been helping with preperations for the Jubilee Beacon. Pallets, amongst other scrap wood, have been taken to the top of Hazler Hill over the past few weeks. They will be assembled by the Tuesday Task Force this week, ready to be lighted at 10.26pm on Monday 4th June. Pallets have been collected from the Popworks, Lime Green quarry along Wenlock Edge and 200 arrived on Friday from TSM pallets.
Harriet, Kate and Anne.
The unloading of the 200 pallets was made easier by the help of three year 11 girls from Church Stretton School who have been volunteering every Friday afternoon for the past 10 months as an alternative to PE. This week was their last, but Harriet, Kate and Anne have undertaken a variety of tasks throughout their time at the Valley including litter picking, washing vehicles as well as helping the tea room and education staff.
