Our Get Involved day took place last Saturday and Sunday and was very popular with visitors despite the not so good weather. A range of activities took place, showcasing the work we do with opportunities for people to 'get involved'. In the coach park, rangers were present to talk through the vehicles and tools we use, with kids getting rides in the Mule. In the yard, the firewood processor was on show, and the garden was open for people to go and look round. The tea room had local produce for sale, whilst further up the valley, volunteer Amanda was on hand in the bird hide. Pond dipping took place in the pools and behind the reservoir, Don was demonstrating bushcraft.
