This Tuesday was the volunteers Christmas dinner. It started in the tea room with tea and coffee then we were whisked away by Chris Stratton and Pete Carty who took us on a guided walk up the valley. We stopped at various points to talk about the site history, past projects and future plans.
Upon returning to the tea room the volunteers enjoyed soup, sandwiches and Apple cake served to them by the staff. Then they listened to a presentation covering all departments and thanking them for the help and hard work they do for the National Trust.
