As I was walking up the Burway track from CMV the other day I wondered past a brightly flowering Rhododendron, peeking out of someones garden. It is a beautiful plant but is known to take over in some areas, (this is not a problem on the Long Mynd). As I got closer I noticed a hive of activity, a variety of bees all gathering nectar from the flowers, so I decided to take a few photos.
