Certificate of Excellence 2013

We have received 56 great reviews on Tripadviser.com which has resulted in us at Carding Mill Valley getting a certificate of excellence for 2013. Here are some of the reviews;

"Beautiful setting - lovely valley, and stream and surrounding hills",

"Shropshire at its best - Brilliant in all weathers. Plenty of parking. Teashop. Reservoirs to swim in and brook to paddle in. Walks to suit all tastes and abilities"

"Lovely day out for walkers and families - We had a lovely day here on 31st May 2013. Glorious weather so we sat by the river and had a picnic before walking up the red route to the water fall. We had some really lovely views down the valley. In warm weather it was lovely to see families with their children paddling in the stream and exploring. Paths were well marked and there were route descriptions for all levels of walks."

"The weather was awful - windy and raining but this seemed to add an extra dimension to the amazing scenery. The high sided hills of the valley with the stream racing down were a perfect setting for a leisurely walk after which I visited the cafe for a well earned sandwich and cup of coffee. The food is fresh and delicious and there is a library of books available either to read whilst resting or to buy at an extremely reasonable cost to take home with you."

"Stunning attraction - Amazing scenery in an unexpected location. Step into this National Trust gem from residential Church Stretton and be amazed. Now weather is warming up perfect for a picnic with family, if you fancy some exercise walking and biking routes for all abilities accessible, hills, streams and woodland to explore".

"Heaven - Just love walking The Long Mynd.Views are fantastic and there are many walks to do for all abilitys. Great for children paddling or sledging on the grass/snow. Good hill climbs."
