Dragons, damsels and butterflies

The Long Mynd is full of life this summer, and while walking up Carding Mill Valley or on the top you might spot some dragons and damsels. The Long Mynd is dotted with pools so you are quite likely to see numerous species flying around, you may also see butterflies and moths popping out of the long grass. Below are some photographs FTV Kate has taken whilst on the hill.

A Keeled Skimmer - quite scarce in the county but have a good population on the hill
