Six Rangers from the Brecon Beacons paid a visit to Carding Mill Valley to find out more about Heathland Management. Our rangers, along with Ecologist Caroline Uff and Countryside Manager Pete Carty, discussed with them how we manage the heather and bracken, and showed them different parts of the hill, from where it's been cut to areas that are currently regenerating.
Everyone found the day very helpful, and all came away with new ideas on how to preserve these beautiful habitats.
