Thousands of people every year flock to Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. What many don't realise is that the National Trust is a charity, and relies heavily on volunteers to help with crucial work. Here at Carding Mill we have lots of different types of volunteers. The Tuesday Task Force help rangers with practical jobs out on the hill. Education volunteers help Education Officers Chris and Rob with the many school groups who come to visit the valley. Other volunteers enjoy helping in the Tea Room and Shop. There is so much to do here and volunteering is an incredibly important part of it. If you think you might be interested, pop into the office for a chat, we'd love to hear from you!
