The large tree trunk by the bird hide had fallen in the stream! This trunk had pieces of metal in it, so was too heavy for rangers to easily lift out of the stream. Thankfully the lorry driver who delivered the logs used his crane to lift it out of the stream. It will later be moved to Batch Valley.
