Along with the cold weather there was a whole range of events organised in the Chalet pavilion.
A garland making workshop was run letting people experiment with the creation of Christmas decorations as well as getting to keep the finished products.
There was a late night night opening at the National Trusts tea room and shop which featured live performances from the Shropshire Strummers (a local Ucayali band) and the Kaleidoscope Theater Group. (http://www.kaleidoscope-theatre.org/)
