Rope Pull

As part of the natural play trail a rope pull has been installed en-route to the reservoir. Three large posts have been concreted into the hill side with the help of ex builder and TTF member Reg as well as John and Les. Debris has been cleared from the track and the rope has been threaded through the drilled holes in the posts to allow children (and adults) to have a bit of fun making there way up the valley.

40 buckets of concrete carried up the slope to fill the holes.
The rope full is located next to three large trees one of which was an oak that required some tree surgery inorder for the rope pull to pass underneath it. Ben Jones and his team from Wood Matters tree surgery carried out the work.
