Last Friday a barbecue was held for staff, volunteers and residents of Carding Mill Valley. Around 100 people came and enjoyed sausages, burgers, chops and varied salads. Though the rain came for much of the bbq there was plenty of shelter under the marquee and in the barn. At the end Marcus, the general manager, gave a speech about the progress of the site and thanked all the hard working staff and volunteers for helping Carding Mill Valley to meet its targets.
