Two sleepers in the bridge to the reservoir had become rotted over the years, so rangers put in two new ones to replace them. This was easier said than done, as they are very heavy!

Buoys!

On Monday, half a dozen buoys anchored to concrete blocks were put into the reservoir for wild swimmers to know where the depth goes beyond 1.4m. Dave Plaice, one of our volunteers, bought along his dinghy so getting around the reservoir was made easier.
