Kitchen Garden project

Inspired by the National Trusts Food Glorious Food campaign, Staff and a group of volunteers have been working to create a raised bed kitchen garden on a unused piece of land behind the tea room.
This area which now has seven raised beds, a green house and a fruit cage; has produced a variety of vegetables and salad for use in the tea room.
The new garden has helped reduce the number of food miles associated with the property and provides the freshest produce possible.
Plans for next year are to install a second greenhouse and a potting shed.
