Numerous families took part in the drop-in lantern making session on Wednesday at Carding Mill Valley. Emily and Don showed people how to create lanterns using willow whips and tissue paper in all different shapes, sizes and colours. The finished lanterns were paraded through the valley in the lantern procession and then the children got to take them home.
