| Excavation Work |
Wild Moor pool was partially excavated to remove the vegetation, predominantly Rush. This takes place every 6 years or so. In addition, scrapes for Snipe were also created in the surrounding Soft Rush to provide areas suitable for feeding which will in turn hopefully increase breeding. Both these measures will comply with HLS requirements for the area.
